This woman introduces herself at a school board meeting as Donna, a former middle school science teacher, high school biology teacher, and later on a high school counselor. Most importantly she states that she is a mother to a 5-year-old and a 7-year-old daughter. She pleads with the board to leave out many of these issues taught to children as they are beyond their level of comprehension. She continues to explain that so many of the topics that will be introduced are unsuitable not only for kindergarten kids but, kids in middle school and high school as well . She’s taught kids in America and London emphasizes that kids just want to be kids. She concludes by begging the board to let kids retain their innocence and for the board to reject the framework.
