This mother talks about her 4 children and how they’ve recently moved to Elk Grove and that she is pleased with the education system in Elk Grove. However, she is pleading for her kids before the California Family Council to opt-out of the LGBTQ curriculum. She talks about how the Bible and God have been removed from the curriculum and she feels that the LGBTQ curriculum shouldn’t be imposed on kids that don’t practice this lifestyle. She feels that such matters should all be left to be taught in homes. She says that she has no problem with the LGBTQ community, it is just that she is Christian and so are her kids. Her kids have LGBTQ friends and she doesn’t mind that, but she wants to practice her rights as an American citizen to have the option to opt-out of a curriculum that doesn’t align with her faith.
