Chet Madison, Sr the president of the California Family Council Board, takes his opportunity to deliver a speech that follows up on statements that his colleagues have made. He reflects on his lived experiences as a minority and, the hate and discrimination he experienced in the public education system when he was a kid. He says that back then nothing about your heritage as a minority was taught and that they are mindful of that now, so he thinks teaching sexualized content is a move in the right direction. He says he has seen the tweaks that have been done on books that are coming out and that they’d love more tweaking but he is in full support of them.
