Matthew a senior staff attorney at the Pacific Justice Institute takes to the stand at a board meeting where he states he is in strong opposition to the California Curriculum Framework. He refers to a letter that was previously submitted to the State Board that has extensive citations and quotes of what they oppose in the framework. He lists two points of the letter of which the first is the banning of free advertising by Planned Parenthood and the ACLU in the framework. The second point he raises is for the framework to not confuse children and teachers on the important concept of abuse.

He warns the board not to lump spiritual abuse, technological abuse, and financial abuse in with physical and sexual abuse.
